Shortly after my last post, I received an email from a TV reporter in Sacramento, asking if I would go on camera and talk about working for him.
I declined. Considering how minimal my actual contact was with the man, it wouldn't be appropriate.
She really must have been desperate to find someone.
I am surprised by how really bummed I'm feeling about this. I've been reading the obits on the web and actually cried at some of the video footage on CNN.
I understand. Sometimes when we work with people they have a more profound effect on our lives than we imagined. The amount of contact isn't what's important but that there was real contact, sometimes unpleasant but real and human.
What I found odd was that just last week I watched a one documentary on him on late night TV.
