I did this last year in the vain hope that more Valley joints NORTH OF VENTURA might get onto the page -- thereby letting restauranteurs know that we Vals dine out, too and we are STARVING for some decent food up here. None of my suggestions got into this year's survey -- however, one of my comments (for one of Pasadena's trendy sushi joints) did.
And if you take the survey, when the book comes out they will send you a copy FOR FREE.
You can't beat that...
There's something north of Ventura???
Hehe.
Is Teru Sushi still in Studio City? That used to be my fave place when I lived in Burbank. Once Billy Idol was at the sushi bar a few seats away from me...*swoon* (The sushi was good, too!)

Teru is my all-time favorite sushi joint, and yes -- it is very much still there.
I used to see lots of famous folks back in the day (when we lived in that hood there were weeks we went two or three times).

I did the survey last year for restaurants in Paris. I was so surprised I'd been to a number of restaurants they wanted reviewed (I feel like I never go out). I liked the book they sent a couple of months later, but would have loved it if it was written in English... oh well. Enjoy your book.
