I know, I know.
I'm now committed to write for so many blogs, I ought to be committed.
I have trouble keeping up with THIS one, let alone my review blog, the MOMocrats political blog, the Los Angeles Moms Blog, 50-Something Moms and Career Kids (the one I'm working on for my sister's company, which gets woeful little attention from me).
So why add a diet blog to the mix? Especially since I have already boasted to you all about the 56 pounds I finished losing earlier this year?
Well, what a lot of you didn't know is that I'm struggling right now with maintaining that loss. I've gained three pounds back, and while that sounds like no big deal, I am really worried that I'm on a slippery slope back up the scale to where I began and beyond. AND I CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN. I worked too hard.
While I was working on my weight loss, I kept a semi-secret blog over at a large health site. I really believe that writing about my struggles with diet and exercise on a nearly daily basis helped to keep me honest.
Since my contract with the site ended, I stopped posting. And I think my maintenance is suffering for it.
And now, the holidays are looming, and I think I need to bring back all the tools I have at my disposal so I don't start the new year packing on additional pounds.
I'm calling the new journal High Maintenance.
If this is something you're interested in, feel free to visit. And if there's anything I say that makes you want to comment, please do! It helps. (Also - if you write a weight loss, diet or exercise blog of your own, send me your link so I can add it to a new blogroll.)

I've drawn a winner for the tickets to the LA Auto Show. The NEW contest I've teased about will have to wait until Friday. I'm set tomorrow to play "Supermarket Sweep" at a Nintendo event over at Whole Foods Market in Pasadena. Stop by to watch... or play yourself!
