So many things. So little time to write about them.
1. Taxes. 'Nuff said about that.
2. Mom stuff. My teen got to take an elective this semester: Filmmaking, which is one of those subjects that wasn't even offered back in the Dark Ages, when I was in high school (40 years ago).
She offered our home as a location for her group's student project -- and then offered me up to portray "The Mom." It's been a while since I've attempted that sort of thing. Most of you don't know that back in the Dark Ages when I was in high school, I was a drama kid -- and entered college as a theater major.
I was a complete bust back then as an actor -- unable to follow Stanislavsky's method of immersing yourself into the character. It did not help that I was completely miscast at the age of 17 as a woman of the world.
This time around, I was given a role I could totally relate to -- and it was just two lines. I think I nailed it.
3. Other projects: I have a lot cooking over at MOMocrats, including this.
