Not-Too-Lazy Days of Summer

Vacation started early for my daughter, thanks to more budget cuts that shortened the school year.

So since last week, my mornings have begun in a more relaxed, less frantic manner: I have been waking up a little later, and also delaying my time behind the desktop computer.

Instead, I've taken to bringing my iPad out back so I can sip my coffee and read my email al fresco (while the dog takes care of his own business).

I could get used to this.
